4-year-old Brain Cancer Victim’s Final Wish is dancing with Taylor Swift to Hit Song ‘Shake it Off’
Jalene Salinas is a 4-year-old brain cancer victim who is battling an aggressive form of tumor at a hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Salinas had a bucket wish in her hospital bed and the top of the list was to be able to dance with Taylor Swift to her hit song ‘Shake it Off‘ as reported by USA Today.
The singer made a surprise call to the family on Monday, 2nd of March, and spoke to the mom, Jennifer Arriaga for about 20 minutes, promising to make the toddler’s final wish come true.
Jalene’s plight and wish came to the attention of the singer when she heard of it via social media to gain her attention from good Samaritans. Taylor, in addition to the phone call did send a gift package to Jalene filled with memorabilia and a signed poster, but the family is hoping to still get Taylor Swift to Skype or Facetime with Jalene
“And you always say shake it off because you want to shake off what?” Arriaga asks her daughter. “Cancer.” Jalene says.
